No Words.

I just learned this morning that a nine-year-old Alabama girl recently died after being forced to run for three hours as punishment for having lied to her grandmother about eating candy bars. The cause of death was severe dehydration & hyponatremia.

This is an absolutely horrible story under any circumstances, but it made me a little extra sick because it reminded me of something I saw at the track last fall, another little girl about the same age being forced to run as a punishment.

What the hell is wrong with people?
